14 Months!

Our little girl just gets cuter and cuter and sweeter and sweeter!  Brinley's favorite thing to do is be outside.  She loves to go for bike rides, loves to go out and pet our neighbor's concrete bunny, play in her water table, and pick flowers.  Brinley is 14 months now, and here are a few of our favorite pictures with our little one.

Sorry for the blurry pic--just wanted to show off how long
Brinley's hair is getting!  It's a similar color to Emily's; and
it's very straight.

Happy St. Patrick's day!  Brinley enjoyed a green meal of pickles,
pureed broccoli, green eggs, kiwi, spinach, and brown rice (that
had green food coloring in it, but it didn't mix as well).  She
loved all of it....except the egg--I think she thought it was a little
weird.

Now that the weather is warmer, we tried to put Brinley to sleep
without her fleece sleep sack--it lasted about 3 hours, and then
couldn't get her back to sleep until she put it on--oh well,
we'll just have to turn the air conditioning on :).

Brinley is really good at drinking out of straws now.
Also, I made this hat!  It's still a little big for her, but I guess that's
good that she can grow into it.

14 Month Picture

We have been doing some practice egg hunts around the house.
Brinley is really good, and seems to have a fun time.  The last time
Brinley collected all the eggs, she took them out of her
basket and opened each one to see if there was anything
on the inside.  Who told her there was supposed to be
something on the inside?

My favorite shopping buddy--she's always ready!

Eating lunch on the couch--Brinley thought it was silly
to eat on the couch and not in her chair.

Spring is here!  Not sure why this bush (azalea) decided
to come back from the dead, but Karl and I are glad that it did :).

Brinley's new water table--thanks Mimi and Dow!  Brinley LOVES it!

Trying to drink the water

We bought a pacifier for the first time!  When Brinley was about
4 weeks old, we decided to sooth her with a "paci..." and looked
in the closet to see what people had given us.  We had 2 "nuk" brand
paci's.  Well, Brinley liked them...and we've somehow managed to hold
onto those 2 paci's for 14 months now.  However, I happened to look
at one the other day and it looked like it had mold growing around
the edges (yes, we clean them quite often, but the moisture
must have built up around the edge).  Anyway, it was gross, so I bought
2 new ones at Food Lion today.  Brinley was happy to welcome the new
"ba" (her word for paci) into her life and is currently napping with it.
