The Pumpkin Patch!!!

Happy October!  Last week we went to the Pumpkin Patch!  I have been wanting to take my kid to the pumpkin patch ever since college when I went to a pumpkin patch!!  What fun we had!  Here are some fun pics from the event:
Corn pit!  Like a sand box only full of corn!

Brinley reallllly wanted to eat it.

Having fun

Laying in the corn, clapping (or signing more)...
either way, she was happy

Hay ride

Great, big pumpkin!

Our little flower

scarecrow!

Family photo

Not sure why we made her get a picture with the giant gourd--
she is a little concerned

standing with the pumpkin

She was thirsty after the patch

Just for fun...this wasn't at the patch--just a park,
but I thought she looked cute

trying to get her pacifier from inside the crib

Poor Brinley is confused.  Here she has a diamond ring on her finger--
this is supposed to be Karl's "oh, no!" face.

Our Cutie Pie

Here are some ADORABLE pictures that we've taken in the last few weeks...just have to share!
Brinley loves reading these little books...one day she crawled back and forth between two books for a long time--not sure which one she wanted to read--thanks Julie!
LOVING her Miami hoodie!  Thanks Mer!  Can you believe she's
big enough to wear it?!

VERY interested in the fire place now--sorry about the
inappropriate-ness of the shot!

Seeing the world through a red view

Brinley having fun with her GREAT grandmother!

Swings are a new favorite as well now!  I'm so glad the weather
has been PERFECT for playground exploring.  Here is a pic of
Brinley and Solomon.

So...she's a bit too big for her swing now...
but she crawled up to it the other day so we let her
play for a few minutes

One of our favorite features of Miss Mae is her cheeks!  This
is a good shot of those precious cheeks!
Brinley found Daddy's hat...

It got quiet one day and I went to see where Brinley had crawled to (not
that I leave her alone, but she had crawled out of sight for a
minute)...and saw her standing at the door waiting for Daddy

Poor baby....Brinley's been having a lot of trouble going to sleep lately
(used to rock her for 5 minutes and she'd go right to sleep).  Now
she plays, cries, calls our names...anything but sleeps at bedtime.  Guess
she finally wore herself out, but her position makes me feel bad that she's
not all snuggled up in a sleeping position.
Brinley's new favorites are:  cheerios (and cheerios only when it comes to food); playing with anything that's not a baby toy; singing; playing the keyboard in our office; and looking at herself in the mirror.  Peak-a-boo has possibly become the only word Karl and I say (to each other and Brinley).
