From one "B" to another

Beth, this one's just for you!

13 Months!

Our little Mae is just getting older and older :).  She is 13 months now.  Some "new" things that Brinley is into:  she just started using her ball popper; she likes to rock in her rocking chair; she's always inventing new dance moves; she wants mom to be around at ALL times; she is just plain silly.  We love her so much!

Here are some recent photos:

We realized that we could go to the gym and
use their pool as a family...a new fun (free...well, kind of), family
outing!

Here is her new rocking chair ( should say that it is new to her--it's actually
 Karl's rocking chair from when he was little)--she can get in
 and outall by herself--she loves it!

Eating yogurt.  Brinley is getting better and better at feeding
herself with a spoon and a fork...this particular day however
she decided to just stick her entire hand in the bowl and then
put her hand on her face--some of it ended up in her mouth.

We were cleaning out the closet, and Brinley needed a snack. 
She asked for some okra--silly baby :).  We feel really lucky
that Brinley eats her fruits and veggies!

Another typical shot of Brinley.  She's very....domestic.  Here
she kept on walking along with her shopping cart and then stopping
to unzip her purse and check to see if anything was in there...then
she would resume pushing the cart--guess this is what I do at the
grocery store?

Happy Birthday Karl!

Happy Birthday Karl!  (Karl's birthday was the 6th).  What a full year it has been--new jobs for Karl and I as well as getting to know our fabulous daughter!  I have had the privilege of celebrating Karl's birthday with Karl for 10 years now...so fun that I keep learning new things about Karl :).  This year, I've learned that Karl might be squeeeeemish around dirty diapers, but he's a pretty fabulous dad--and Brinley loves him oh so much!  Happy Birthday Karl!

Quick bike ride!  Technically, the bike seat will eventually go on
my bike....but for now, Karl is testing it out.
