Many Firsts This Week!

Brinley's first hair accessory!  She's loving it!

A little unsure...

This isn't exactly the "first" bedtime story (we used to read to Brinley
when she was in my tummy...); but this is one of the first times we've
read to her right before she officially goes to sleep in her bassinet.
I like to call this look her "peapod."

This is Brinley's first bath.  She LOVED it--at least
she didn't cry at all.  I know this is kind of cheezy,
but my sister gave this terry-cloth "bath cover-up" to me
and I couldn't resist wearing it for Brinley's first bath.

Washing her hair

Here she is just really enjoying the whole experience!

My FAVORITE towel that Brinley has.  Here she is getting dried off
and cozy in her giraffe towel.

Brinley's ready for her first walk.  She was REALLY bundled up (and cute!).

Burgandy and my mom decided to join us
Here is Brinley in her "posh pram" (a.k.a. awesome stroller thanks to Oma and Opa)!

The Cuteness Continues

Brinley continues to be more cute and more precious by the minute. I have enjoyed having a few days off work to spend at home with my two favorite girls Emily and Brinley.

Our new and improved family of three!  When we got home from the hospital we had a package in the mail from Meredith Sheaffer with this wall art.  It was the perfect gift.  It works great in our nursery!
Brinley lounges after a tasty breakfast.

Emily's socks match Brinley's footies!

We are determined to raise our daughter right.  That means raise her to be a dog lover!

The three of us and our matching hospital bracelets

Babies are small. I'm serious, they are tiny! I am about 28 times bigger than she is.

Brinley Mae Turns Zero, Episode 4

The theme of this post is: Coming home from the hospital!
We were so excited to bring her home and begin our new lives as a family.

Brinley got all situated in her car seat before we left the hospital room.

Mom and Daughter climb into the back seat for the ride home.

Buckled up and ready to go. Do you see Brinley in the mirror?

Brinley got her first dose of sunlight on the ride home.  It was quite a contrast to what she is used to in Mom's tummy.
